Osseo Youth Football wants to make sure a registration fee is not a barrier to a child playing a sport they love. To accomplish that goal, OYF offers scholarships to eligible participants in our tackle program.
In response to higher demand in recent years, the OYF board has elected to offer scholarships covering registration fees only. This change allows the board to give more families a discount without limiting the number of recipients or turning anyone away, and it also aligns with the policies of other youth sports organizations in our district.
OYF will provide a 50% registration fee scholarship to tackle players who qualify for the Educational Benefits Program as determined by Osseo Area Schools. Proof of current participation in this program is required. If a partial registration fee creates a financial hardship for your family, you may inquire with Osseo Youth Football as to if any scholarships may be available.
To request an Educational Benefits program scholarship, please send a copy of the current school year Osseo Area Schools Educational Benefits Approval Letter to osseoyouthfootball@gmail.com. Once the form has been verified, families will receive a discount code to apply at checkout during the registration process. DO NOT register until you have received this code.
Visit the Osseo Area Schools Nutrition Services page or stop by the district office/any school front office to fill out the Educational Benefits form in order to qualify for this discount. Obtaining this form is the sole responsibility of the player’s family.
