Who we Are

Osseo Youth Football (OYF) is a non-profit organization committed to fostering a safe, enjoyable, and competitive environment for children in grades Kindergarten through 8 residing in the Osseo, Maple Grove, and Brooklyn Park communities. OYF strives to provide every participant with opportunities to enhance their football skills as well as develop valuable life skills through education, teamwork, and the formation of meaningful relationships.

Our Mission Statement

Osseo Youth Football’s mission is to provide physical, mental and character development to all members of our youth community. Our program prioritizes structured activities and equitable competition for every registered participant, regardless of ability or financial status. This mission is demonstrated through the dedication of our coaches and staff to maintaining a positive athletic environment and promoting good sportsmanship among participants and their families.

The Football Board works together too:

  • Oversee league operations, budgeting, and team management
  • Ensure player safety and the overall development of the program
  • Coordinate fundraising efforts and events to support the football teams
  • Work closely with coaches, parents, and volunteers to create the best experience for everyone involved

We are looking for individuals who:

  • Have a passion for youth sports and a desire to make a difference

  • Can work well with others, including parents, coaches, and community members
  • Bring new ideas and perspectives to help us grow and evolve the program
  • Whether you have prior experience in sports administration or just a passion for helping kids, we encourage you to apply. We are looking for people with a variety of skills and backgrounds to ensure we have diverse perspectives on the board.
